Iraq's First Lady Makes Burgerfuel Her Local

Iraq's First Lady, Hero Ibrahim Ahmed, has made BurgerFuel her new favourite - so much so that she has been said to visit the Kiwi gourmet burger joint almost every day.

Hero, wife of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, is the founder of the Kurdish TV Channel - Kurdsat TV and a number of women's organisations. She has launched numerous women's awareness projects through Kurdsat TV, actively promoting women's rights, music and art. Hero is also the director of KSC, Kurdish Save the Children, a charity that provides orphaned children with food, water, shelter and education.

Needless to say, BurgerFuel Iraq staff commented that “it has been an honour and a huge compliment to have such an influential and well respected woman in their presence”.
