Last Saturday 7th September, Radio Burgerfuel hosted the New Zealand DMC Championships for 2019
The DMC (Disco Mixing Club) World Championships have had a New Zealand champion since the early nineties. It’s a battle of the countries best turntablists and the winner is flown to London to represent New Zealand at the World Champs
Afternoon prelims led to the top DJs playing at the main public event at Radio BurgerFuel HQ. The legendary Che Fu was on hand to throw down some tunes in between the competition sets. After a fierce battle between DJs D-Spyz, Pakman, Dazzle, Lenski, C-NAR and K-Swizz, the winner was decided. A massive congrats to K-Swizz who is heading off to London to represent Aotearoa at the end of September. Best of luck in taking on the world!
