Drive-in Movie at BurgerFuel Ferrymead Chirstchurch

If Drive-in Movies were something of the past, BurgerFuel just brought them back, full throttled it and fed it a giant burger!

Held outside BurgerFuel Ferrymead, at the Ferrymead shopping complex in Christchurch, we hosted a massive 230 classic cars all carrying a total of 1,000 people. Yeowww!

We teamed up with local Christchurch classic car club, Rockabilly Show and Shine, to host this free to the public evening. Not to mention the plenty of pleases and thanks to the sweet Christchurch City Council (say that three times).

The movie choice was crucial as well, oh and we felt the pressure! It needed to be well known, family friendly and of course, tie in well with both our car culture and that of Rockabiliy Show and Shine. We needed a classic… Grease! As always, this proved to be loved by all.

To complete our Drive-in movie experience we called on another local group, the Christchurch Roller Derby Club, who helped us serve fresh, cooked to order BurgerFuel burgers by roller sakes to customers in cars watching the movie.

All in all, it was a cracker of an event! Stay tuned for move events like this... one may even be held at your own local BurgerFuel.
