PERTH FOR V8

Kia Ora!

I’m currently writing this from Barbagallo Raceway, Perth, Western Australia. This weekend is the second round of our V8 Supercar Development Series.

It has been pretty quiet on the racing front the past few weeks so it’ll be grouse to get into the car this weekend. I’ve been keeping up with my training and riding my dirt bike but not a lot of racing unfortunately.

The track here in Perth is pretty cool. It’s quite short but a real technical track with plenty of elevation change. Having a well set up car and good tyre life will be critical to being competitive here. Fingers crossed the car rolls out of the track on the money.

In the past week I was able to announce that I would be racing again in the V8 Supercar enduros this year for the new kiwi team, Super Black Racing. Last year at Bathurst I helped Super Black debut as the lead driver so it is fantastic to be going back this time around.
