Burgerfuel Opens In Porirua, Wellington
BurgerFuel New Zealand has added another store to their ever-growing Wellington line-up, with the opening of BurgerFuel Porirua, taking BurgerFuel’s footprint in New Zealand’s capital city to seven restaurants.
Over recent years Porirua has cemented itself as one of greater Wellington’s largest shopping centres, and the expansion of new housing in the surrounding areas has meant the growth of a thriving local economy with a population of over 53,000 people.
Existing long-time BurgerFuel franchisees Matt Kingi and Barry Malcolm, who own stores in Courtenay Place and Johnsonville respectively, as well owning the busy Adelaide road store together, have again combined their extensive knowledge of the city, delicious burgers and excellent service to create yet another exceptional store.
Porirua local Kingi, who purchased his first BurgerFuel store eight years ago says, “We’ve had great support from the already established customer base who’ve visited our other Wellington stores, and local buzz about the Porirua opening has been huge”.
Malcolm comments, “We’re stoked that the people of Porirua can enjoy their own local gourmet BurgerFuel experience, minus the travel!”.
The new BurgerFuel Porirua restaurant is the biggest in the Wellington region. Designed with family dining in mind, it features the latest in BurgerFuel interior design whilst retaining the classic BurgerFuel engineered edge. New style dining and communal tables will make it the ideal destination for large groups and customers will enjoy the increased outdoor seating space. The store also features the new, custom designed 100% recycled and recyclable BurgerFuel ‘Enviro-Mental’ chairs.
