It's time to release the beast...

In 2021, BurgerFuel HQ ran their annual ‘Next Top Burger’ challenge, a nationwide internal staff competition that calls on all 58 stores to get inventive and design a show-stopping burger to feature in the brands 2022 line up of killer limited-edition special burger campaigns. Extra points are awarded for entries that are supported with a clever marketing spin and ways to promote the burger to their local community.

Auckland CBD store, BurgerFuel Customs Street, served up the winning entry, ‘Buffalo Buick’. The saucy grilled chicken burger earned the nod of approval from ‘Mad Burger Scientist’ and Menu Development Manager, Millsy, and won over the marketing team with the campaign theme playfully incorporating BurgerFuel’s iconic custom classic, the ’64 Buick Rivera. 

The Buffalo Buick is stacked with grilled free-range chicken, crispy panko crumbed pickles, New York inspired Culley’s Buffalo Wing Sauce, creamy BurgerFuel Stilton sauce and fresh hand-cut salad, all parked up on a wholemeal bun.
