Danzel Baker AKA Baker Boy is a Yolngu man from Milingimbi North East Arnhem Land, Australia. You probably haven't heard too much music from Australia's indigenous artists and thats because traditionally, they haven't been given to opportunities to expose their talents. Baker Boy however is a young Indigenous rapper who is doing things his way by fusing together traditional language Yolngu Matha and English, plus cultural elements and current modern hip hop culture. He is the first of his kind to break into the musical mainstream, Radio BurgerFuel's Lee Densem caught up with the artist recently at Brisbane's 'Big Sound' music festival to get a better feel for this unique musical journey.
