Radio BurgerFuel’s Battle of the Bands

After the success of last year, we’re back again with Radio BurgerFuel’s Battle of the Bands, powered by JB Hi-Fi. Battle it out to WIN the Ultimate Musician Starter Pack, take centre stage and fuel (or kickstart) your career as an NZ musician.
Battle of the Bands is a competition for emerging artists to showcase their talent to a panel of industry experts, music fans and fellow artists. Five lucky entrants will make it through an initial selection phase, then progress to a live performance where the winner/winning group will be crowned Radio BurgerFuel’s Battle of the Bands 2025 WINNER, taking home the Ultimate Musician Starter Pack.
THE JUDGE PANEL
Ladi6 – iconic New Zealand recording artist with many awards under belt, including Best Female Solo Artist and Best Urban Hip Hop Album at the 2011 New Zealand Music Awards
Jared Wrennall - Lead vocalist of NZ's alternative rock group Dead Favours and was previously a part of the Grammy Award-nominated punk band Steriogram.
DJ Scissorhands – DJ and Producer, including Radio BurgerFuel resident DJ and Cut Class Scratch Tutor
Lee Densem – Radio BurgerFuel founder and Minister of Sound. Lee also has an extensive background in radio broadcasting.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
*Prize of ‘A year’s supply of BurgerFuel for each member’ is subject to T&Cs and entitles winning entrant/entrants to 52 burgers distributed via BurgerFuel’s loyalty programme, VIB Club. Prize of ‘A spot to play at BurgerFuel’s Friday Night Bites’ event is subject to winning entrant/entrants’ availability. Flights, transfers and accommodation are not included if the winning entrant/entrants are outside of Auckland. Prize of ‘A produced music video’ event is subject to winning entrant/entrants’ availability. Flights, transfers and accommodation are not included if the winning entrant/entrants are outside of Auckland. Music video will be produced by BurgerFuel’s preferred content production agency and will require an agreement to be signed by winning entrant outlining BurgerFuel’s creative direction involvement and ongoing usage of the content produced.
