Fathers Day Drags September 2014

We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the old man in our lives than to spend the day with him inhaling burning rubber and some sweet exhaust fumes. The Fathers Day Drags, one of the biggest events on the NZ Drag racing calendar, was held last Sunday at the Meremere Dragway. The BurgerFuel promo team had pride of place right beside the strip and the lunchtime race between our branded rides, the Ford Fairmont and El Camino saw one lucky punter from Hamilton score a years worth of BurgerFuel for guessing the winner. Stoked! Spectators were left in a haze of smoke and flying rubber at the sponsored ‘BurgerFuel Burnout Competition’ where BurgerFuel NZ supplied a cool $1000 for the best burnout. An absolute stunner of a day. Finished off with a feed at BurgerFuel Pukekohe on the way home. Cheers Dad.
