Every month we shout burgers to the legends among us who give back to their community or help people in need.
This month, we shout out to the team at the Compost Collective for their incredible work and commitment to help Aucklanders reduce their food and garden waste through composting.
The Compost Collective offers free workshops across Auckland, as well as having a super informative website covering all aspects of composting. Each person who goes to a workshop gets a discount on their new composting system, as well as a free rat trap.
The workshops help educate and breakdown the barriers that people have around composting and ensure they can find a way to incorporate composting in with their lifestyle. Both with the purpose of making composting accessible for everyone.
