Here's to 2024

This year, New Zealand’s burger game was on fire, with the American Muscle Single, Bacon BBQ Roadster, and the Bacon Backfire take the burger crowns as the ultimate burger squad. We’ve enjoyed 365 days of NZ Beef, free-range chicken, and enough BurgerFuel Aioli to make your taste buds do a happy dance.

We switched things up with Oat Thickshakes (because, why not?) and teamed up with our close mates at Shake Out for the limited-edition Cheesy Spuds. We cranked up the BBQ vibes with The Iron Rebel, went full-on gourmet with Al Brown for the Mustang Deli, showed some love to our plant-powered pals with Shroom Shroom and the Ranch Wrangler, and cruised into summer with The Rodfather. It’s been a tasty, saucy ride!

We pride ourselves on Customer Experience and our in store staff culture, we even shut our doors in December so all BurgerFuel staff could have some time to celebrate the year that was.

We went in for dinner tonight and it was so busy. But wow the team were amazing and the manager still went out of his way to help us. He also stopped to thank his team! In July 2024, Whanganui hopped on board the BurgerFuel train as store number 61. Franchisees Joe and Ange proudly took on the purple flag, waving it high and mighty in the Manawatū-Whanganui region ever since. And that’s not all, we’ve had some fresh faces join the BurgerFuel fam – we welcome Mikey as the new franchisee of BurgerFuel Invercargill, Warren joins BurgerFuel Timaru and Sid and Karam are the proud new owners of BurgerFuel Ferrymead. Fun fact: all four started off as crew members and now they’ve got the keys to their very own BurgerFuel kingdoms. Talk about a glow-up!

Throughout the year we celebrate the other things we're into. Whether it be music, street art, or anything and everything to do with cars, we'll be there with burger bells on.

Creative, Sweet kept on being creative and hosted their annual Table Talkers event, BurgerFuel Whanganui got dipped in purple with their very own store mural, and Extra Dipping Sauce launched, interviewing some of NZ’s top creatives through a new podcast series.
