Kumeu Hot Rod Show - 2017

It wouldn’t be the beginning of the New Year without the Kumeu Hot Rod and Classic Car Show. This family-friendly car show is one of the biggest of its kind in Australasia, and in our opinion definitely one of the coolest. With the Kumeu show grounds only being a short 10-minute drive from Westgate BurgerFuel, we made sure everyone we talked to over the weekend left with some free fries vouchers – nothing like a little dinner incentive for the drive home!?!
We took three of our classic cars to this event; our 1964 Buick, 1972 Ford Fairmont and 1974 Land Cruiser. Not stopping there, we set up a promo area for people to come find shelter from the sun (and the rain on Sunday), play some old school outdoor games like swing ball and Twister, and relax on our bean bags. Here our promo team hooked up the kids (and some adults) with our kid’s tattoos. They are always a hit at events, with the line often longer than some food queues. Typical!
It’s fair to say 2017 began right. Now, bring on 2018! See you there.
