How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel?
I was working for a small bakery at the time, and I was ready for a change. Someone who I thought was just a customer was about to give me an opportunity not just to work for him, but an opportunity to develop myself further and grow as a person. An opportunity that I welcomed with open arms.
What was the thing that attracted you the most to?
Had I been actively looking for a new job I feel that I would be able to answer this differently, but knowing that I could be more than just a server was exciting. A chance to learn new things in a new environment was just the type of thing I needed. To become part of the great culture and team that was already there was just a bonus.
What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being part of the store staff?
I always let them know what the upcoming specials are and remind them to use their VIB Club so they don't miss out on any upcoming / finishing offers. As for the perks, getting to close the store for a day in December so we can celebrate our staff has to be one of the best ones. Not all businesses can offer this and it has proven to be a great way to enhance the bond between the staff and management, and also a really fun time. In our store we have done Paintball and a Prison Tour + Escape room. I am excited to see what we do next year.
