How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel? I started working for BurgerFuel as a Shift Manager back in August 2012, after working in hospitality for several years. A friend of mine was the Manager at the time and got me an interview with the Franchisee and we hit it off.
What was the thing that attracted you the most to BurgerFuel? From my first interaction with the Franchisee in the interview, I could tell that this was the kind of company culture that I was wanting to work for. It was fun, fast, challenging and I saw that there was opportunity to grow and develop within the company. I had had some pretty terrible bosses in the past and saw myself fitting right on in with the team at BurgerFuel.
What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being part of the store staff? Whilst in-store, the variation within my job and the initiatives they drove to keep the team cranking was great. We won competitions against other BurgerFuel stores which meant we got cool prizes and access to HQ events too! Now at HQ myself, looking after stores across the country means that I get to travel around and meet a lot of the staff. That, and the seemingly bottomless pit of burgers we get to eat our way through.
