How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel? I used to work next door to BurgerFuel Mount Wellington, I was already a regular and knew the staff and the store manager at the time really well. We were mates and every time I came in I asked if he had any positions available as I was super keen to work for BurgerFuel, and I already had the hospitality experience. After months of nothing he had a Shift Manager position open and that was my chance!
What was the thing that attracted you the most to BurgerFuel? As a customer, I remember every time I walked through the door I was greeted by the staff with smiles on their faces. The environment was loud, pumping and exciting and I just had to be a part of it. The staff’s attitudes were totally different to any job I'd ever worked at, you could tell it was more than a job for them, it was a way of life and they loved it.
What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being part of the store staff?The vibe is like no other, it’s one of those situations where you live to work and love it. I told my mates all about it and some of them also now work for BurgerFuel! Not only do you get to work with countless amounts of great staff but the bosses are just as cool. The franchisee and I get along really well and he’s mentored me through so much and helped me gain so much experience. The best and most obvious perk is the free burgers! As well as the store against store competitions - a little friendly competition ain't hurting nobody HA!
