Having worked his way up from in store, to be the Shop Manager for Parnell was an opportunity that Michael welcomed with open arms. He fell in love with the brand, culture and of course, the food after just one visit, Michael knew from that moment he had to be a part of the BurgerFuel family. The ultimate reward? Making burgers impressive enough for the customers to take photos of all whilst building his own community of regulars.

How did you first get involved with BurgerFuel? Classic "Started from the bottom, now we're here" story. After having eaten at BurgerFuel once and loving it straight away, I got a part-time job during University.

What was the thing that attracted you the most to?BurgerFuel? Everyone I talked to about BurgerFuel, before trying it, said it was just the best. There was always a high expectation, and when I went for the first time, I was not disappointed. Beautiful, quick, tasty food, along with top-tier service! I was hooked.

What do you tell your mates and family about BurgerFuel, what are the perks and best parts of being part of the store staff? Over the past few years, we've really been stuck in it together, and developed a tight-knit family culture in our stores. That culture, along with some sweet bonuses (who doesnt love free stuff), makes coming to work the best part of the day.

 

What motivates and makes you proud to represent the BurgerFuel brand? Early on in my BurgerFuel days, I found a passion for making the most beautiful food I could. So, within our network, I started the #burgerart movement to reflect that we don't just sell burgers, we sell masterpieces. Seeing customers "WOW" at their food and take pictures to post is where I get my kicks.

What is one of the greatest opportunities BurgerFuel has given you? BurgerFuel has given me the perfect outlet to engage with the local community in Parnell. On an average day, you'll see me on first name basis with about half the people who walk into the store. Can't get much more social than that!

What is one thing you would say to any potential individual who is looking to work at BurgerFuel? Literally just do it! BurgerFuel is hands-down the coolest group in hospitality, with a fun, fast and loud culture, plus some nifty perks!
