The Burger Drop - Waikato UNI O Week

In sthe spirit of doing things bigger, better and more bad ass than ever, we embarked on a brand new inititive called ‘The Burger Drop’. This involved dropping 250 BurgerFuel T shirts out of a BurgerFuel branded helicoptor during Waikato’s 0 week. Each of the tees had free burger stickers on them ranging from 1 – 3 free burger vouchers. The winners had to wear their tee instore to redeem their free burger. This encouraged people to wear the tees around town and campus creating mileage out of the event.

We had our BurgerFuel promo staff on campus from10am – 2pm daily prior to the event getting the word out there. The promo gear used included drums, umbrellas, BF matts, the Jeep, burger suit, MC and mega phone. On the day of ‘The Drop’ we had 10 BurgerFuel promo people plus another 10 WSU volunteers to make sure it ran smooth. And thank goodness we did, because the crowed was HUGE!!! With approximately 3,000 people there.
